For a one-off file
Use the task’s attachment controls and choose a supported format. A small, relevant file is a good first test. Avoid unnecessary personal or sensitive information.
For a database
Create a datasource from the Datasources section. Provide the supported connection details. Prefer a database account with only the access your analysis needs.
For documents you reuse
Create a knowledge base, add supported sources and complete segmentation. Give the space a name that explains what it contains.
For an external app
Open Connectors, find the app or MCP integration and follow its authorization flow. Review the account and scopes carefully before granting consent.
Check it with a small task
Verify the correct source is selected and ask a question you can check. Account ownership and configured team permissions still apply to each resource.
